Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,300m/4,264ft)
Upon arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu, you will be warmly greeted by a representative from Everest Pioneer Trek Nepal. They will transfer you to the 5-star hotel Yak & Yeti or a similar hotel. After check-in, you can take some rest or visit Everest Pioneer Trek Nepal's office. You may also explore the lively streets of Thamel for souvenir shopping. In the evening, a welcome dinner featuring traditional Nepalese cuisine and a cultural program will be hosted by Everest Pioneer Trek Nepal. Overnight in Kathmandu. (Included meals: Dinner)
Day 02: Kathmandu: Sightseeing and Trek Preparation
After breakfast, embark on a guided tour to explore the historical and spiritual attractions of Kathmandu. Visit UNESCO World Heritage Sites such as Durbar Square, Pashupatinath Temple, Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple), and Boudhanath Stupa. At noon, there will be a pre-trip discussion where you can meet your trek leader and fellow team members. Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Syange (1100m/3608 ft): 8 – 10 hours
Begin the day with an early morning drive to Syange. Enjoy the picturesque countryside of Nepal with its green hills, meandering Marsayndi rivers, terraced farms, and magnificent Himalayan vistas. Overnight in Syange. (Included meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 04: Trek from Syange to Dharapani (1,960m/6,430ft): 7 – 8 hours
Enter the Manang district after crossing a large bridge near Tal. Traverse through fields of barley, rice, and potatoes, accompanied by charming waterfalls along the way. Pass through the village of Kodo before reaching Dharapani, one of the largest villages in the Manang valley. Overnight in Dharapani. (Included meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 05: Dharapani to Chame (2,710m/8,891ft): 5 – 6 hours
Embark on a scenic trek through steep forested ridges, encountering landslides en route to Chame. Be rewarded with breathtaking views of Lamjung Himal, Annapurna II, and Annapurna IV. Take a refreshing break at small hot springs along the way. Overnight in Chame. (Included meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 06: Chame to Pisang (3,300m/10,824ft): 5 – 6 hours
Walk through a steep and narrow valley to witness the impressive rock face of Paungda Danda, with stunning views of Annapurna II and Pisang Peak. Descend to the Manang Valley floor, surrounded by captivating landscapes. Overnight in Pisang. (Included meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 07: Pisang to Manang (3,500m/11,482ft): 6 – 7 hours
Choose the route via Upper Pisang to enjoy exceptional views of Mt. Annapurna, Pisang Peak, and other majestic peaks. As you approach Manang, the climate becomes colder and drier. Make a short visit to Barge Monastery, the largest monastery in the Manang District. Overnight in Manang. (Included meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 08: Manang: Acclimatization day
Spend the day acclimatizing to the high altitude. Engage in a short hike to Bhojo Gumba or Gangapurna Lake. For those with more energy, a hike to Vraga Village allows a visit to the Himalayan Rescue Association, where you can learn about Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS). Overnight in Manang. Day 09: Manang to Yak Kharka (4,110m/13,484ft): 3 – 4 hours
Trek from Manang village, crossing streams and climbing to the village of Tenki. The trail continues through the Jarsang Khola valley, passing pastures, juniper trees, and small villages. After crossing a wooden bridge and reaching Yak Kharka, enjoy gradual ascent to avoid altitude problems. Overnight in Yak Kharka. (Included meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 10: Yak Kharka to Thorang Phedi (4,420m/14,501ft): 3-4 hours
Embark on an uphill walk to Thorang Phedi. Pass through the village of Ledar, ascending through towering cliffs. Enjoy stunning views of Mt. Gudang, Mt. Syagang, Thorung Peak, and Mt. Khatungkan. Arrive at Thorang Phedi, the last village before Thorong La pass. Overnight in Thorang Phedi. (Included meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 11: Trek to Thorong La (5,416m/17,764ft) to Muktinath (3,800m/12,467ft), then drive to Jomsom: 7 – 8 hours trek, 1-hour drive
Embark on the ultimate objective of crossing Thorong La pass, one of the highest passes in the world. Begin the trek from east to west (Manang to Muktinath), the easiest and safest direction. Start the ascent early in the morning, reaching the top of the pass where breathtaking views await. Descend to Muktinath Valley and then drive to Jomsom, a Himalayan village renowned for its delicious apples. Overnight in Jomsom. (Included meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 12: Fly from Jomsom to Pokhara: 25 minutes
Take an early morning flight from Jomsom to Pokhara, the enchanting lake city. Upon arrival, check-in at your hotel and enjoy leisure time. Explore the Shangri-la village resort near Fewa Lake, indulge in shopping for souvenirs, or savor local delicacies. Overnight in Pokhara. (Included meals: Breakfast)
Day 13: Fly from Pokhara to Kathmandu: 30 minutes
After breakfast, bid farewell to Pokhara and take a scenic flight back to Kathmandu. Upon reaching Kathmandu, you will be transferred to Yak & Yeti Hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to relax or explore the city at your own pace. In the evening, enjoy a farewell dinner hosted by Everest Pioneer Trek Nepal to celebrate the successful completion of your journey. Overnight in Kathmandu. (Included meals: Breakfast, Dinner)
Day 14: Final Departure
Today marks the end of your adventure in Nepal. An Everest Pioneer Trek Nepal representative will accompany you to the airport approximately 3 hours before your scheduled flight. Take this time to reflect on your experiences and plan your next adventure in Nepal. (Included meals: Breakfast)
